Netflix will save your spot when you pause or close the application and you can pick up watching from any other Netflix supported device. This is great if you want to transition from watching on your tablet to watching on the big screen.

Neflix also supports Windows 8's multitasking. You can pin the Netflix app on either side of the screen to continue watching video in a small screen while using another application. Alternatively, you can have Netflix as the main app and pin another app next to it to multitask with Netflix in a bigger window. The entire Netflix app is usable even in this multitasking mode.

There's no ability to like or favorite a video from within the application. There's also no information about how many likes/dislikes or video views there are. Videos also start immediately with no option to alter this behavior in Youtube Player for Windows 8.

In the options, you'll find the ability to specify what format you prefer. If you have a quick internet connection, you can tell Youtube Player for Windows 8 to load 1080p or 720p video whenever available.
